Arrival

We will welcome you for a tour of the house and an inventory of fixtures. The keys will be given to you. Deposit cheques (400euros and 50 euros for the “cleaning” deposit) will be required. These will be returned to you at the end of your stay after checking the state of the premises and their cleanliness.

You can arrive at the house from 16:00.

Departure

An inventory of fixtures will be carried out when the keys are handed over. The deposit cheque will be returned to you if any damage is found during the inventory of fixtures, which will be deducted from your deposit cheque. Please inform us of your departure time so that we can be present.

A few instructions for the day of your departure:
We ask you to remove the sheets from the beds, open the bedroom windows, empty the fridge and freezer, empty the garbage cans and return the house to the condition it was in on your arrival.

Check-out time is 10 a.m. at the latest.

House rules

To ensure that your stay runs smoothly, and that of your successors, we thank you in advance for respecting the following points. For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed.

1. Smoker

The house is non-smoking, please respect. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home, including at the windows. Tenants may smoke outside, provided they do not throw cigarette butts onto the public highway. Be responsible.

2. Nuisances and neighbors

Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly forbidden in the accommodation. Please respect your neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after dark. By respecting the people and property around you, you’ll enjoy your vacation even more. Silence is required from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. We reserve the right to call to order any nuisance behavior or excessive noise reported by neighbors. In the event of a dispute or complaint from a neighbor, it is your duty to inform us as soon as possible.

3. Library

Books are available for you to borrow for the duration of your stay. Please take good care of them and return them to their rightful place at the end of your stay.

4. Waste

Here, we sort, for a sustainable tourism, thank you kindly sort :

– metal packaging (steel-aluminium): empty well – no need to wash
– plastic bottles, cans, flasks (empty well – no need to wash) – with caps
– cardboard, cardboard boxes, food cartons
– yoghurt pots, butter cream pots, trays, packaging
– paper, newspapers, magazines, leaflets: put them in the yellow-lidded garbage can.

Glass is to be placed in dedicated crates.

There’s a composter at the back of the house where you can put your peelings, fruit and vegetable waste and leftover meals,

Don’t forget to take out the rubbish before you leave. The various containers are located at the entrance to the village.

5. Household

The house can be cleaned by a cleaning lady before you leave. This will cost you €100 on top of the rental price (payable by cheque). Otherwise, it’s up to you to take care of the cleaning, and make sure the rental is as clean as when you arrived. Don’t forget to clean the barbecue and oven; the fridge should be emptied of all products.

6. Dishwashers and washing machines

These devices are very easy to use. However, we’ve left the notices just in case…

7. Board games

A safe in the corridor is stocked with board games for your use. Each set is complete, so please take care not to lose any parts or damage the sets. Please ensure that the boot is stored correctly.

8. Sheets and towels

Bed linen and towels are provided.
Before you leave, please remove the sheets and leave them on the bed.
Towels are for use in the bathroom only.
Please bring your own towels for the beach or river.

9. Jacuzzi

A Jacuzzi is at your disposal. Please turn it off when not in use. Remember to put the cover on after each use. Do not leave children unsupervised in the hot tub.

10. Barbecue

An electric barbecue is at your disposal. Please turn it off when not in use. Remember to clean it after each use.

11. Rental equipment

You’ll find all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Please use them responsibly. The kitchen is equipped with appliances that are in perfect working order and clean. Please return them to us in the same condition. Any claim made more than 2 days after taking possession of the premises will not be accepted. Similarly, please report any breakage or damage to household appliances immediately. Be sure to turn off lights and other electrical appliances when you’re away. In the event of a power failure, please contact us immediately and do not touch the electrical panel.

12. Child safety

Never leave children unattended. You are fully responsible for the safety of your children at all times.

13. Energy savings and respect for the environment

We attach great importance to preserving the environment. It’s a notion that tends to be forgotten during the vacations… So we encourage you to adopt good habits and show responsibility in your everyday actions. Please sort your garbage, turn off lights when not needed, limit air-conditioning to a minimum of 26°, close windows when in use and turn it off when not in use…

14. General home safety

While we have taken the necessary steps to make our accommodation safe for our tenants, you also have a role to play in ensuring the safety of your stay. Whenever you leave the rental property, it is your responsibility to ensure that all windows and doors are closed and locked to maintain security and prevent rain damage.
We accept no responsibility for loss or theft of personal effects or valuables. If you misplace or forget an item in the apartment, please let us know so that we can look for it when you change tenants and clean up.

15. Damage and breakage management

While we know that our tenants will not intentionally break anything in the vacation rental, we understand that accidents can sometimes happen. Please report any accidental damage or breakage in good time, and before departure. In the event of breakage, and if and only if you have informed us of the damage, and if the amount of repairs/replacements is less than the amount of your security deposit, and only with our prior agreement, 2 options are available to you: – replacement of the object/equipment as closely as possible to that provided in the accommodation – amount deducted from the deposit paid before your stay. If the cost of repairs due to damage/breakage/damage exceeds the amount of your security deposit, you will be required to pay the balance.
